Memories are meant to be Cherished

Amanda just came back from HK last night. Her flight arrived at 2211. After duty, changed pass then I went to T1. I saw Mrs Chua there as well as Mdm Yue. Haha. Mdm Yue didn't know that Amanda is my sister. Talked with Mrs Chua a while then went Swensen's to eat. I didn't want to go because I'M HAVING MST NEXT WEEK! Plus, supernova camp starts tomorrow!!! I need to find time to study as I haven't touched my revision yet.

Anyway, before duty, me, michelle and chishan tried taking the lifts. The scary lift was real scary. The light was like flickering and there was silence. Still have to walk a maze like passageway to the lift. After duty, because me and michelle went into the lift first, I pressed the opened button while waiting for the rest of CYAs to come in. Think the lift door opened for too long already. When I pressed close, it closed halfway and opened again. I tried this for like 3-4 times? Finally the door managed to close, but the lift wasn't moving. I tried pressing open, can'y open!!! To our horror, the lift suddenly show a 'FIRE ALARM ACTIVATION' sign. All of us in the lift was like 'Oh my God' here and there. Then at last it moved. But at a very slow speed!! Everyone was like so scared it will stop halfway. Finally reached basement, once the lift door opened, all of us rushed out of it. This is like my first time experiencing this except for the blackout in the lift at my old house.

Sis is not at home for 4 days

Amanda just left for HongKong this morning. I didn't managed to wake up to time to send her off but at least i managed to wake up to say byebye? This is because I was too tired because of last night's charity dinner held at woodgrove secondary school. I was a little regret at first last night as we ended quite late and most of us were worried that we won't be able to catch the last train. After much consideration, luckily for us, we caught the last bus. If not, I'll be like stranded in woodlands and spend my night there.

However, come to think of it now, I more or less enjoyed myself last night while communicating with the elderly. I learnt from one of them that they eat 5 meals a day. Breakfast at 7am, lunch at 11am, tea at 2pm, dinner at 4pm and supper at 7pm. And they wake up at 4.30am every morning for their bath. I think at that time, I'm still in my dreamland.

Let's go back to friday. I didn't go for meeting. Sorry Yingying. I wasn't feeling very well. The train ride back home on friday was my longest train ride ever. During industrial visit, my stomach was hurting so much that I had to bend down at almost every station. Worse, we can't sit down. At one station, I felt like vomiting. Luckily the leader said we will be having toilet break. I was like thank god!!! At least we're going to the toilet. At that time, we were on the 7th floor and the toilet only had one cubicle. So, he said to go to the 6th floor's toilet. I almost fainted upon hearing this. Had to take stairs somemore. I was already feeling quite giddy at that time and still have to climb stairs. Once I reached the toilet, vomited inside and felt much better. After a few more stations, our IBN open house ended.

Luckily for me, I managed to sit down in the mrt. If not, I think I'll be like Pamela. In the train, I was like struggling to control my stomach pain which was unbearable. I still thought I could make it for meeting that night. In the end, once I reached home, I slept for like 14 hours? From 6pm in the night to 8am in the morning.

Next morning, Woke up at 8am. After that practise some piano as I had piano lesson at 10am. I had no appetite for yesterday. Morning don't even feel hungry although never eat the previous night. Drank only a cup of Milo for breakfast. Lunch, ate like one quarter of plain rice and gave the rest to Amanda. The dinner the charity dinner provided was also one quarter eaten only and I didn't eat the supper too. No appetite at all. Hope I get my appetite back soon.

Don't know whether I should feel happy or sad that my MST will start only on tuesday. This means that I'll have time to study for 1 day after supernova camp. Oh no! I haven't collected finished the cardboard boxes. Tomorrow meeting at 7pm. Before that still have industrial visit to IBN somemore.

fruitful day

Yesterday was considered a fruitful day for me in 2 aspects.

Firstly, had piano lesson at 10am in the morning. Since I was guilty that I didn't managed to find time to practise, I woke up at 8am to practise in case teacher scolded me. Surprisingly, I managed to scrap through. Just when teacher was about to leave, mum came back. They talked for very long but I can't seem to hear anything. Think they were that about me not practising la, improvement not fast enough la. However, to my surprise, mum told me that teacher say I can start learning grade songs already. Whoa, such an accomplishment for me, considering the fact that I had stopped for 5 years and had only 2 months of lesson then can take exams le. Think CO has helped me in one way or another.

Next, at about 2pm, I left my house for TECC as Yingying said that programme people had to be there and on time for ice-breaker games trial. 2.25pm, reached TECC. Walked to YES supermarket to ask for sponsor of cardboard boxes. However, I was kena rejected by the manager as they sells the boxes to the contractor. After that, looked around for the old lady that Yingying told me about but I didn't managed to find her. Walked around TECC like some idiot. Asking friut stall vendors, shopkeepers. Finally, I found a shop that had cardboard boxes. The shopkeeper say that they were unable to keep them for us, but we may go everyday to collect them at the front of the shop as in the evening, there will be a man who collects them. Since I was the only one there at that time, I asked for a pair of scissors and went to the front of the shop to cut open the boxes. Looked like an idiot again outside the shop. Had to take out the plastics and papers from the boxes and put them into another box. I had to choose those that were of the right size, had to choose those that will not fall apart. In the end, I only managed to obtain 4 boxes. Is it considered an accomplishment? Anyway, I'm supposed to go there again today to collect but think I'm quite lazy. Think during the weekdays I should go there at least 3 times a week to collect. Since I had school, I'm not sure whether I can make it there on time after school. Hopes the man doesn't collect them.
After collecting the boxes, went to meet the rest at mac. On the way there, the boxes keep slipping off my hand. Upon reaching TECC, I just found out from Cedric that actually Lilian is the Vivien that Yiqian talked about after I confirmed it with Lilian last night. Played ice-breaker games, Do you like me?, Colours of life, Whacky adventures, Knock, knock who's there. Yingying was like holding the watergun and squirting at anyone she sees. In less than 1 hr, we played finished the games. Put the things back into the store and saw a buffet outside. Cedric, as usual wanted to 'hun' into the queue, we all pretented to stand there and in the end kena kicked out of the queue as we had to have a ticket. Feeling a bit embarassed, we quickly went out of TECC and went our separate ways.

Now finishing my tutorials and AE & E practical data sheet. Later still have dinner. Luckily tomorrow school starts at 11am for me as I have no CRS presentation at 8am. Just messaged Pamela whether she wants to go earlier to do MIP formal report together. Think she's still sleeping, haven't reply me yet.

The Past

I'll start this post with a 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' to my dear papa. Its he's birthday today.

I realised that it has been a very long time since I've last blogged. Projects are never ending these days. We're like piled up with projects one after another. Hmmm, I shall start blogging from last week.

Last friday 7th Nov
While walking the underpass, guess who I saw? Melodie!!! She was on her way home after seeing the VP about her promos. We chatted a bit then she had something on, so she left. Wish her all the best to be promoted. Had meeting at night. Since Yingying had made it so clear that it was a COMPULSORY meeting, everyone turned up except for Shihan who was at her class bbq. Pajamas party was changed to tribal night and programme people brainstormed about what the decorations should be as well as come out with objectives that we want to fulfil during the camp. To add to that, programme has a slogan and it is 'Don't say opps, say hi'.(quoted from the poster on the wall)

Next day 8th Nov
Had piano lesson as usual. After that, supposed to go watch movie with zodiac, or should I say part of zodiac but something came up and I didn't managed to go.

9th Nov
Ah ma's brithday. We went to her house at around 12 to eat mianxian. I brought my stack of tutorials there to do. At around 6, we all walked to the restaurant to have our dinner. Anyway, I'll upload the pictures another day. Too lazy to upload now since I'm going out soon.

12th Nov
Had duty. But I shan't blog about it. After duty, went home and did more researches on my CRS presentation(CA1) yesterday.

13th Nov
CRS presentation was fine I guess. After that, helped Fangmin with her presentation. Once I got home, showered and I was out again. Went for dinner at temple. The food was good, but I'll upload the pics another day when sis transfers them into my laptop. Brought my AP chem notes there. So envious of Jiawee. He's O'levels just ended on thursday. After dinner, reached home around 11.45pm. Continued studying till about 1am. Then, I couldn't take it already so went to bed.

14th Nov
Today was an average day bah. However, found out that I got the first question wrong for AP chem already. However, one thing that made my day was that Pamela, Yirui, Nuoshi and I went to Aljunied to eat tau huay. Saw Daliami at the bus stop again. Later going out to celebrate papa's birthday so not going meeting today.

CDP project

Early this morning, I had piano lesson at 9 o'clock. After that had shower then went to Tanah Merah mrt station to meet with the rest of them. We were going to airport to do our CDP project. Reached airport at 11.30am.

Next, I approach this guy with his 3 children and gave 3 cookies to them. One thing that surprised me was that before taking the picture, the boy (the one beside me), reached out for my hand. At first, I thought he wanted to hold my hand or there's something on my hand. Then, he actually kissed my hand!! I was like stunned. Then, his father explained that it is their culture. Its like saying thank you in another way. I learnt something today. =)

My lunch. I prefer KFC's mashed potatoes. But Popeye's chicken taste better. The bread or biscuit is damn nice, Hard on the outside, soft on the inside. Spread the jam and it tastes simply marvellous!!!

Pamela used my camera and take so many pictures of herself lor. Spam my camera with her photos. Not only that, still spam all our phones with her photos. She gone mad le. Haha. Anyway, I want to praise her for her smartness to hack into Ching Mun's phone to obtain one of the pictures as don't know for what reason, my laptop cannot respond to bluetooth.

Anyway, after reaching Tanah Merah, just nice their train come already. Baded goodbye and went down escalator. Guess who I saw? Dalami!! My PAE friend. He just came back from Pasir Ris after his PW. Caught up with his life in TJ. After that, my bus came le so had to end our conversation.

I had fun today. Approaching people, taking pictures with them, seeing their happy faces upon receiving the cookies made me feel happy too. =)

Lucky Snowy found her phone back. Seems that there're still kind souls around.

Good news or bad? I just found out right after Supernova Camp, or should I say during Supernova camp, I'll be having my MST!!! Sure die de. Must dig for time during the camp le, if not I sure fail MST de...
