let's welcome the new year. Today is the last day of 2008. I would like to recall all the people who had made an impact of my life this year and the previous years ( If i can't recall any incidences) although there'll be a majority who wouldn't read this. Please note that this is going to be a super long post. =) Firstly, zodiac: Janine, the maus - I remember going to recess with you and Jingping during sec 3 and thanks for being a part of zodiac. Joel, the cowherd - You never fail to turn down any outings or events we have, even if you really don't have the time. I remember you as part of the back 6 gang and the one irritating Cedric with your mosquito sound during lessons. Yingying, the tie-girl - The programme i/c for supernova camp! I remember you as a motivator, an encourager. You always put in your best in everything you do, even if it means carying out the tasks yourself. A great friend to have. Dominic, the ryu - My sitting partner for the first term of sec 4. I remember you changing place with me everytime Timothy blocks my view. I appreciate it. Emerlyn, the hee - My Mavis tuition partner! We went for Physics, Bio and English together remember? 2nd term of sec 4, you swopped places with dominic and we see he and Vincent quarrel about anything and everything everyday. And, we DSA-ed to TJ together with Cedric remember? Grace, the hast - I remember sitting with you and Jingping in sec 3 if I never remember wrongly and eating during lesson, competing doing maths questions with the 3 guys in front. Going recess with you, Jingping and Janine. Anyway, best of luck for your A levels next year. Camilia, the goat - I feel that I don'y really know you that well. Remember you and Benny teaching me how to do sets on our 1st maths lesson. Everytime we solved a question, must raise hand and ask Mr Teo. Good luck for next year though. Cedric, the macaco - The supernova camp programme 2nd i/c cum zodiac chairman cum e7's entertainer? I remembered the 1st day of supernova dare to shine that we went late because of handing in of DSA form. Remembered DSA-ing to TJ with you and Emerlyn as well as to VJ with you and Zhilin. The signing of cerfiticates for 07's christmas party @ Shihan's house. The help we gave Shihan by helping her fill in her MJ DSA form during Mr Teo's a maths lesson and the teachnique you always use when you came to find the back 6 people at the back of the class during sec 4. Best of luck for your A'levels. Vincent, the hona - I remember you crying when you forgot to do 2 pages of your Chemistry paper. Or was it Physics? In the end, still got A1. Hayden, the gugo - Didn't managed to get to know you well too. Thanks for coming to my house for the Christmas Party. Shihan, the maidou - The major person who always remembers brithdays and makes cards for everyone. But...I have not received one yet! Make one for me next year k? Exactly one more month to my birthday. Hope you didn't forget. I appreciate your hardwork in asking almost everyone in class whether they're willing to chip in for my 07's birthday's present. I remembered the first time I know you was going to HongKong together in sec 2. The host of 07's christmas party and did a great job out of it with all the self-entertainment. My sitting partner in sec 4 where we got the best seats in class, with the lights, fans and the screen. What's more entertaining is to see Joel getting Cedric irritated and Vincent and Dominic quarreling almost everyday. I'll try to go for your next band concert. Best to luck to your A'levels next year too. Sure can ace it de. And, the 2 new people, Jiahao - The clone of Cedric. Actions, speech and even voice sounds like Cedric. Thanks for helping me do the banner for supernova camp. If not, I sure can't make it on time de. Haha. Continue being Cedric's clone bah. All the best for A'levels next year! Timothy - I remember you as the person who killed the moth in sec 4 and got your retribution with an injured lag the next day and the person who don't want to let go of the $5 note to pay Shihan and even pull with her till it tore. Thanks for coming to my house on the 25th with your 5.0 megapixel camera. All the best for your A'levels next year. Ace it!

new car? I chanced upon something quite 'unique' that I have never seen before when I went for breakfast at the round market in Tampines this morning. Look at this picture and you will understand:  ' I JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR TODAT. PLEASE DO NOT ISSUE SUMMON ' Like huh? New car then carpark attendant no need issue him summon meh? Plus, today is a sunday, no need to put parking coupon. Then, my mum said maybe he haven't buy parking coupon yet. Maybe bah, cos he don't even know today no need put coupon and still put his sign there. Haha. Anyway, school's starting tomorrow. Finally...

christmas party @ my house Yesterday, zodiac came to my house with an objective, to celebrate Christmas and to discuss about the evolution of zodiac. 9 people came. Cedric, Yingying, Joel, Emerlyn, Hayden, Vincent, Jiahao, Timothy and Shihan. In the morning, helped to spray the snow thing on the windows. Then, boiled the hotdogs, chopped the carrots, vacuum the floor and packed the table. Slightly after 5pm, zodiac came except for Yingying who was still making the cheesecake? Self-entertain by playing Indian Poker which daobi-ed in the 1st game and Murderer. The funny thing was everytime Shihan was the murderer, I was the detective and when Yingying was the detective, I was the murderer. After getting tired of that game, we tried playing a modified version of Murderer where we will walk around. In the end, we still sat down to play, only at a different place. Played for a while more and we decided to eat first. I only know that Cedric ate a lot of Otahs. Anyway, while eating halfway, Joel received a call from Yingying and he was needed to fetch Yingying to my house. After she came with her cheesecake, everyone continued eating again, talked and eat. Cleared the table and played Murderer again. It was after some time that we decided to change game to Bridge and Cedric suggested playing by pairs. I was paired with Emerlyn who didn't know how to play and in the end she used my laptop. Since there were 5 pairs, one pair didn't get to play. After around 4 games, the Joel-Yingying pair decided to play guitar and the 4 other pairs played. In the end, even Bridge daobi as Joel and Yingying found their own entertainment and Emerlyn succeeded in convincing Cedric to watch some video. Then, me, Jiahao and Shihan had nothing to do! Like no one bother about our existence, so we went to cut cake where Vincent joined us for the cake-cutting session.  Jiahao, Vincent, Shihan and me cutting the cake A slice of Yingying's cheesecake. My sis thought she bought it. Served the cake to everyone including my sister and brother's friends only to be rejected by my sister friends. The 4 of us had a Yum-seng with the cheesecake by shouting Cheese-cake but we failed to attract the attention of the other animals. After eating, cleared table and the 3 of us, Jiahao, Shihan and me were left alone again. Watched Don't forget the Lyrics which daobi after like 10-15 minutes. So, we decided to talk at the table. We even brought the remote control to the table. Saying later we all don't watch Xiao Niang Re so loud that we failed again. Then, Vincent joined us, followed by Yingying and Hayden. We were quite happy that we attracted 4 people? Started shouting loudly again because Shihan wanted to play Bridge but Emerlyn, Cedric, Joel and Timothy were hogging Shihan's super thin cards. We failed again. Then. Shihan found out that she brought her Harry Potter UNO cards and we played heart attack. 9 o-clock. Cedric's Xiao Niang Re started le. Keep shouting for us for the remote control but no one cared them. In the end, my sister went to ask for the remote control and all of us went to watch too. Ate Lays and chips while watching. Everyone got so excited upon seeing the 'London Chocolate Roll' advertisement because we wanted to have sweet roll activity but it daobi-ed. After the show, we decided to take group photos. Anyway, after group photo, we realised that we haven met our objective!!! Discuss the evolution of zodiac!! Went to the park with a hope of taking more photos but the playground was hogged by other people. Yingying, Joel and Emerlyn played on the swing and the rest of us, who did nothing went to the pavement beside the canal to discuss. We were thinking of making a jacket instead of a shirt and no more Vervex brand for us. Even the name and logo must be small. It was even suggested that the name of our clique and name of animal should be placed instead the jacket. Haha. I still haven thought of an animal yet. maybe a hedgehog? haha. I don't know. Only know that Joel wants to be a turtle. Some suggested a theme for the animals like endangered species or insects. It was decided that we meet up of the 3rd of Jan to discuss again. Out of nowhere, Shihan said she needed the toilet and we went back to my house. Talked about counting down on 31st Dec. A few alternaltives like going to TPG temple to countdown (Cedric said there's buffet and goodie bag), night cycling and Shihan's house. In the end, It was decided as night cycling cum TPG temple. Some of them want to pray for A levels next year. Som we will cycle to TPG temple, countdown and go night cycling through the night. Since it has been a long time since we had a gathering, although there's Supernova camp but not all of us were in it. It was very enjoyable to be able to celebrate Christmas with zodiac. It has already been almost 2 years and we still kept in touch. Next year will be our 2nd anniversary le. I believe zodiac will be my friends for life and i sincerely hope that it will be this way. party 2 MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! Yesterday was the 2nd party I have this week. The 3rd one will be later when zodiac comes my house. It rained the whole day yesterday so we went xiao yi's house late. When we reached there, the food we ate was BBQ-ed my uncle's relatives. Feeling super paiseh, after we finished our food, we went to help to BBQ. Nothing much to blog. The only funny thing was we were approached by so many people who wanted to find the block. There was once, a passer-by asked Huiyan where's block double 25C and she heard 2256. Another incident was uncle's nephew asked where's his umbrella and she heard as where's my mother. Then she kept saying she went upstairs. All of us laughed till have stomach cramps. After BBQ, went up to xiaoyi's house and cut log cake. Left her house around 11.30pm.

buffet Today went to Bugis to do my CRS and at the same time, eat buffet. Met with Yirui, Gil and Pamela at control station and went to eat. I forgot how to even go there le. They have a wide variety of food there and the steamboat only cost $13!!! Add another $3 and you'll get to enjoy bbq too. Total I spent $16 there. Ate for 3 hours somemore.  Array of food  Somemore food for selection  Our steamboat and bbq  So much food  Gil, our service provider  Buns Huge crabs Gigantic crabs See, they're BIG Gil's 1st attempt at egg wrap noodles. taste quite nice but quite bland 1st attempt of egg wrap rice Add spring onions (is that what u call the green thing?) egg wrap rice dao bi cos the egg broke while Gil was trying to fold it. pre-camp Haha. I shall start blogging about supernova camp 08 since everyone has already started. Pre-camp 28 Nov 2008 Early in the morning went to school for lesson at 8am. 12pm, school ended ate a fast lunch in school, rushed home, bathed, packed my camp stuffs and out of the house. Reached tecc and went to look for cardboard boxes first as Shihan is in school. To my dismay, the shop that I'm supposed to collect the boxes from has no more boxes. Tried to find boxes in tecc, walked round and round of tecc. After a while, met Shihan at tecc busstop and followed her to hand in form. After that she say she know that old lady that collects the cardboard boxes. Paid the lady about $2 for 5 boxes. Then, proceeded to school. On the way to school, it began to rain like so heavily. I was carrying 5 cardboard boxes plus my camp stuffs plus my notes for revision. Luckily, Shihan's there to help me take my notes. Used the carboard boxes to cover my notes. Once reached school, we found out that everyone's not in school. The pre-camp was supposed to start at 9am but it was 5 plus already and no one's in school? Brought the things to Chat Point @ PRSS aka canteen, stoned there. I made a call to Joel who was supposed to reached late because of presentation. It was then that we know that the reporting venue was tecc and not prss!! Shihan was like ' if report at tecc then I go home liao'. Then I told Joel Shihan bao liao and Shihan denied saying ' I where got bao..' In the end, we still stayed in school. Both of us tried to find some topic to talked about, have some leng changs here and there. After talking for a while, we tried to play 2 ppl bridge but it dao bi even before we started. Then, Shihan called Cedric to ask him buy cheese fries for us. Talked a while more then Shihan received a call from Cedric, saying that he have not enough money, so cheese fries dao bi. 6 plus. Cedric, Jiahao, Yiqian, Eleen and Shiwee finally reached. Hayden reached too but I forgot when. At first, we played UNO. After finding that it was taking such a long time to end one game, we divided ourselves to play stress and bridge. Then, Joel and Vincent came. And there were 2 groups playing bridge. It was quite difficult to play bridge with Shihan's super thin cards. Yingying called, informing us that she's buying roti prata for dinner. Played somemore. Finally at 7 plus, our dinner arrived. Cedric and Yiqian took their roti prata as if it was some biscuits like that. After dinner, pre-camp finally started at 8 plus.. Played modified blow wind blow with slippers and shoes. Then, it was suggested that after the blow wind blow game the next day, there will be a friendship dance. After that, went to play captian-mania. It was quite tiring and I believe that it's better then PT as morning exercise. Seeing people running after huge beach balls, tiny pingpong balls, squeaky balls and tennis balls. We didn't play with the secret item which will be raw chicken on the 2nd day of camp.  Listening to briefing by Hayden  Target the beach ball!!  Can't see who's this  I believe this is Cedric chasing after the ball  Jump and catch the ball The ball's in the air  Giving Hayden suggestions after the tiring game of Captian-Mania Look at everyone, so tired.After Captian-Mania, programme people went to storeroom to obtain our own logistics for our various programmes we're in charged of. I had to find items for my nightwalk station as well as for tribal night as well as the materials for teambuilding that the campers are supposed to purchase. When I was finding for other materials, I lean the bamboo poles against the whiteboard. It fell down and hit Cedric on the head. Cedric showed me the tribal banner. It was so nice, the characters they drew were very alike as I can recognise them straight away. I'm so surprised Cedric can draw so well, remembering that Miss Tay once said he and don't know who asked her for marks. Anyway, I must thank Cedric, Jiahao, Hayden and Yiqian for helping me make such a beautiful banner that I don't think I'll even make such a nice banner.  Nice right?Anyway, after packing our individual logistics, we tried to solve the mind games. We came to a conclusion that since the mind games were quite risky, we will try to extend the teambuilding games and canncel the mind games. After all these, Cedric, Jiahao, Vincent, Yiqian, Eleen and Shiwee went home. Me and Shihan helped to organise all the logistics and put them properly according to their timeslots. Then, we proceeded to the canteen where we helped Yingying to put the scorecards onto the board. I spened the night at Shihan's house as she forgot to bring towel.  Camp booklet for the 4 tribes Ho-Chunk, Dakelh, Kanza, Dakota I believe this is Kanza's gift to their campers. I shall continue Day 1, 2 and 3 another day when I've received all the pictures.

vivo Yesterday has been a long day for me. Went out of the house at night and only reached home after 11. Met with Fion, Marcus and Jesslin at Harbourfront MRT station to go vivo. Since kids will be kids and the cinema wasn't opened yet, we proceeded to the arcade where Amanda went crazy after seeing this machine called gogo-ball if I'm not wrong. I sponsored her and Jonathan around $10 to play. About 11am, went to buy tickets. They wanted to watch Bolt so watched with them. The movie was ok but it was scheduled at 11.35am but only started like 12.10pm? The advertisements was so long.  Tickets After movie, they said they were hungry. So, ended up in Long John. I didn't eat as I ate the nachos and popcorn till bloated state le. Took group photo there then took MRT to Tanah Merah to meet Michelle and go duty. Since it was only 2 weeks of not doing duty, I had forgotten about a lot of things in the airport already.

sale Yesterday was a holiday. Actually, the plan was to go cycling at east coast park in the morning as well as to have a picnic with 小姨 and her family. Who knows, it rained the whole day yesterday. So, plan failed. In the end, went to the tampines market in the morning to eat breakfast and papa and I was searching for a mahjong table. In the end, also failed to find. Went home and slacked till around 5 to eat lunch. In between, Jonathan wanted to bake cookies so we went to buy the ingredients. Forgot to take picture of the cookies yesterday. At night, around 7pm, went to John Little sale at Expo. Mummy bought a bag for my christmas present as well as 2 shirts and a pants. I also bought goggles of 250 degree, but also don't know whether I'll use them. We spent close to a thousand dollars there. After that, went to bedok 85 market to eat congee. Once we reached home, I totally dropped dead on the bed and forgot to watch Amazing Race!!! Only remembered about it when I read the newspaper this morning. concert Whoa. I just found out that everyone has started to blog about their supernova camp and I haven even started!! Too many things to blog le. Maybe I'll start when I get all the photos and spend one whole day blogging about it. Anyway, today was prssco alumi concert. Or should I say Ding's ruan zu concert with NYJCCO and PRSSCO as guest performers?? Anyway, reported at 1.30pm today. My juniors were worst. They had to report at 7.45am just to move their own logistics. I have to thank them for bringing 2 extra pipas for me and Lilian to use. Initially, Lilian and I wanted to report at 3pm but don't know for whatever reason, we still turned up at around 2pm and found out that we were among the earliest to reach. Took pipa from the 3-1 room and brought them to rehearsal room. We didn't really rehearsed there, instead we talked and me and cedric tried to combine other songs like fen yong and matsuri. But, in the end dao bi because whenever I have xuan lv then he is ban zhou and vice versa. Rehearsed on stage for 3 times. Once with Ding as conductor and twice with MingLi as student conductor. If I never remember wrongly, it was about 4++ when we decided to go grab a bite. Went downstairs to mac where we saw 2 groups of people. The seniors and guan yue. Then me and Eleen was like nowhere to go so we bought apple pie and sat down. After that, cedric also joined us. Finished eating, we proceeded to go buy bubble tea and actually walked by the carpark way in case we meet with Lilian they all. Me and Eleen bought pearl milk tea and Cedric tried Purple Dream? Talked about wanting to join some CC's CO and taking grades as well as recall how we DSA-ed last year. I suddenly feel the urge to continue playing pipa as I miss those days in prssco. Maybe I shall find time to practise my pipa and may consider taking grade again. I feel that Ding is like some way or another cheating my juniors money la. They are taking grade 2 now and they will be sec 3 next year. I remembered taking grade 4 exam when I was in sec 2. Plus, she charges them $150 and they learn combine songs during private lesson. 5.30pm. Proceeded to concert hall. Realised that it was too long till our turn, took some pictures and Lilian spam my camera with the seniors and her pictures. We stood outside the rehearsal room and listen to the ruan zu where we were told to keep quiet once in a while by the NYCO teacher-in-charge. During intermission, me and Lilian went to 3-1 room to take pictures with my juniors.  picture with seniors 2 batches before mine.  Marjorie, Cindy, Yingwei, Lilian, Me and Huiting  Lilian suggested taking with the stars on the wall  Yingwei was quite reluctant to join us With my 4 juniors. Next year must GWH ah!!! About 6++, it was our turn to perform. It was quite chaotic backstage as usual. Lilian's pipa went out of tune and she was like so stressed and finding for the tuner. Finally, got on stage. the song went quite well until the part where me and Lilian interpretted the score wrongly and forgot to repeat the bars. Luckily we stopped at the same time and didn't shout the HU and HA. If not, everyone will be like looking at us. After our song, went to pack up and hear 2 of prssco songs. Think they will have a chance for GWH next year. But, there were sec 4s in today's performance, so still not sure but I hope they can attain our GWH. After concert, went to ah gong's house where I almost fall asleep on the bus.

fruitful day Today was kind of a fruitful day for me bah. Helped mummy fried noodles in the morning. Had piano lesson in the afternoon followed by prssco practice in the evening. Piano lesson. Quite ok la, considering the fact that I have not been practising for 2 whole weeks due to supernova camp and MST. Woke up quite early today to finish up my theory homework and practise piano. Teacher say she'll be buying grade 5 practical for me next week and I'll be taking exam next year. Hope I can find time to practise my piano at least thrice a week. PRSSCO alumi practice. When Cedric and Lilian informed me yesterday that they are going for today's practice and ask me to go, I was quite reluctant because I have not touched my pipa since I have left TJ. Last night took out pipa and practised a bit. Think it helped me a bit today. Anyway, its a good thing that the song we playing is easy if not I sure die de. Didn't managed to so Ding today. Hope she won't ask me and Lilian go her private lesson again. Found out that Marjorie is the pipa shouxi. Lilian and me was like quite shocked. Plus, I think Ding is slacking this year. I remembered how she always force us to learn how to move, use dou zi, lun zi etc...but, I don't see any juniors using them. They all say they don't know. I feel that liuqin juniors now damn pro. Anyway, during combine, I didn't see anyone moving in erhu section except for 2 guys and a one or two more people. Hope that tomorrow's concert will be a success since alumi is only performing one song and prssco is performing 2 songs and the rest of the 8 items are by NYJCO and Ding's ruan zhu. Back to last night''s social ettiqutte talk and AGM. The talk was so-so, think it's because everyone was so tired because of MST and majority was not listening to the presenter. Luckily they provided us with packet milo and polar cakes to consume. AGM was about Ms Vivky leaving us and handing CYA over to her partner. She talked till like she was going to leave us forever. I feel that she is an excellent CCA co-ordinator and is very helpful. She even offered to write testimonials for us when we are in 3rd year. Cherished @ 11:29 PM Friday, December 5, 2008
over Haha. Its finally over. I have been counting down the hours since like after AE & E. Think I totally screw up my whole MST. Hope my holiday will be better with reports to do, projects to finish and presentations to prepare. Now, I shall just take a break and start planning the christmas party for ZODIAC!!! last paper Finally, last paper is tomorrow!!! I'll be free from exams this year 22 hours from now. Anyway, I just wish that I can pass today's paper which was super tough and I think I have already made some careless mistakes. Tired^infinity Just got back from a 4 days 3 nights camp since friday. I haven't been studying... Anyway, I'm too tired to upload pictures now and I will upload them once I've loaded them and Kevin has compile all the pictures. Think everyone's shack today. I only slept less than 5 hours since friday. Poly students having their test tomorrow. Luckily I'm only having exams. Cedric and Jia Hao still have a camp tomorrow. Good luck to them.
