Celebrated May's 20th birthday today.

Bought 2 display items for her from Precious Thoughts: A photoframe with her name as well as a jewellery box. Hope she likes it.

Everyone was supposed to meet at 10am but majority of them were late. I reached at 9.30am somemore! Luckily for me, I took the empty train so draw out my practical datasheet on the train. Haha.

The 1st person I saw was Royston! Sat at the mrt busstop with him and leng chang-ed there. Saw Chrispher, Huiying, Michelle and Weiling. Soon, Calista came and Pamela messaged me saying that they are on their way to Raffles Place le! Panic!

As usual, I started calling everyone. Nuoshi was on her way, Yirui was also on her way, Chingmun in library, Snowy on her way, Kuenling was still waiting for train! At Chinese Garden somemore! Plus May's card was not made yet because he forgot!

Then, 10am le. Pamela and May reached le! Mrt busstop only have Calista, Snowy, Royston and me! I tell her to tell May their group members in the library then ltr changed to fc5, on her way there go toilet. Thankfully Pamela did a great job because Pamela told May that they were doin practical report and even told their group members not to tell May. Even their group members came to celebrate her birthday.

Super lazy to blog the rest. ~~Maybe I can continue when I received the pictures from either Nuoshi or May.~~

Today's practical was exhausting... Did like 14 titrations. Terrible. Have to do so many reports now, plus gems presentation's due in 2 weeks. Individual presentation somemore. I sure shiver like crazy de.

Okie, enough of blogging. Got to type today's practical readings in excel and send to my group members.

p.s. buffer solutions smell terrible. Especially when it has ammonia in it. choking smell and teary eyes...

tiring day

Whoa. Today has been a tiring day for me as the title of today's post suggest.

My 1st friday of year 2 started with Forensic Chemistry Practical at 9am which ended at 11.30am. Thereafter when to Bukit Batok Subway for lunch as the one at foodcourt 5 had a snake looking queue.

After eating, went to walk around west mall, shopped a bit. Around 1.30pm left west mall and my tiring day begin.

Took mrt from Bukit Batok to Jurong East which was super packed till everyone was like sardines. After that transferred to green line from Jurong East to Tanah Merah. The time standing in the train was unbearable. My feet was aching with the new shoes and there was no place to sit at all! The lady in front of me was squeezing me like I was going to be part of the mrt wall le.

I was trying to stay awake the whole journey. Reached home around 2.45pm and ate medicine when I ate the wrong medicine. I was supposed to take the cough mixture only in the morning and night and I took it! Felt so sleepy after taking that but I could not seem to fall asleep.

Then, left the house at 4.30pm for duty as I had to replace Melvin because I was even more sick on Wednesday. Walked to Tanah Merah mrt station and did walkabout in arrivals only. Today's duty was at arrivals. I have to admit that I kept yawning during duty. I was feeling really tired. Plus, the ache from the mrt was terrible. Surprisingly, Gary called me at around 7.30pm and asked me and Dannah to meet at CYA room at 8.15pm. The whole 45 minutes was torturous. We kept thinking of all the bad things that could be happened.

In the end, we were supposed to meet at 8.15pm because we had to go for a grooming session. Learnt about posture, attire, make-up and etc for duties.

Took a group picture and went home.

p.s. i was actually looking forward to audit. Haven't been doing duty for 2 weeks. Think my airport knowledge deproved le.

almost a week

It has been almost a week of headache, sore throat, runny nose and coughing for me.

I have to be in school in less than 2 hours and mummy is still outside buying my lunch and medicine. I haven't been eating medicine for 3 or 4 days? Just drinking plain water.

Come home then blog. I'm sick of my constant coughing. Tissue papers are disappearing!!!

Feel so happy for them. Remember 2 years ago, we were singing the school song in SCH after the results. SUPER HAPPY!!! Haha. 2 years ago, after hearing the results, tears of joy just flow down. The feeling's unbelievable. It's like a dream come true. Its better than winning lottery. Haha.

I remembered we still took mrt to tampines mall mos burger still in our syf costume. HAPPY^8763248375268325 now. Can't stop smiling now.

When Cindy messaged me. I just can't stop smiling. Marjorie even called me! They are 2 of my dearest juniors. I think they may be singing the school song in SCH also. History has repeated itself and it will repeat itself again and again till the day PRSSCO do not participate in SYF.

CONGRATULATIONS PRSSCO!

The hard work is worthed it. All the sacrifices and time made for practices and scoldings by ding lao shi had paid off.

Must go congratulate all my juniors now.

water water

This 1.5 litre peach tea bottle had been all day with me since yesterday. I conquered it 4 times yesterday, resulting in my highest record of visits to the toilet in a day. Sleep also sleep with it. But, water really helped I guess. Because my sore throat is 80% cured already!

Imagine going to the toilet every 10 to 15 minutes. Must as well I stay in the toilet the whole day. Today's piano lesson was not very good. Woke up at 9.15am then lesson at 10am. Skipped breakfast in order to practise piano. Was feeling so sleepy and hungry during lesson. The constant ticking of the metronome made me even more tired. Plus, I had to control myself not to cough while playing the piano as my throat was irritating me with the itch (is this the right word to use). Having headache again. It keeps coming and going.

Sian. Won't be able to get well by tonight le. Was thinking of going to tecc to see prssco and my juniors before their syf on monday. I can't go to watch. Sad. If only my last lesson f the day was practical, then will have briefing only then I can rush down for their performance. Hope I can make ot for the results as I think the last school's timeslot is at 5pm.

not at this time?

Argh.

I'm having a very very bad sore throat now. My throat has a burning sensation now. I have alreaadt gone to the toilet more than 10 times since morning and ~~drank~~ gulped more than 5 litres of water already!

I'm going to be like a water tank soon. Bloated with water.

I want to get well as soon as possible. How to enjoy my 1st day of year 2 like that? My voice is changing and soon I'll lose my voice if this goes on.

Got to go. To the toilet again.

Cedric's Birthday

Just went to Zodiac's and Joel's blog to find out that I had forgotten to send Cedric a birthday message last night. So, I have decided to send it later on at night.

Haha. I shall follow Joel and dedicate a post to Mr Cedric Poh.

I can't really remember how I know Cedric. Not sure whether its in Sec 3 or 4? Or maybe the 1st time we had a conversation was during CO? During break or something. Anyway, Cedric's now 18 already. Can go learn driving also. Can watch M18 movies.

It has been great pleasure knowing him as a friend, the president of Zodiac.

The one who's signature's on everyone's Zodiac certificate given out during the 2007 Christmas Party.

The one who was so fascinated by Digimons during the O'levels practical. Even the trees on the roadside has to be a Digimon.

The one who never fails to turn up for any Zodiac event.

The one who was always going to the back of the class during sec 4 to 'hun' with the back 6 people and always kena caught by Mdm Yue.

The one who's rubber band got flashed on the visualiser and had to hold the map on the board as a 'punishment'.

The one who talked a lot of crap to the CNY judges and won our class 2nd prize. Or was it 3rd?

The one who endured Joel's mosquito sound for the 2nd half year of sec 4.

I don't know how come we were always celebrating his birthday? In 2007.

The 1st ever Zodiac photo together. I remembered that Cedric and Shihan were always the ones asking people to pay money for presents, going out to buy the presents and always trying to plan something which usually dao-bi? Cedric should wish that all Zodiac's gathering should be successful.

Cedric was the one who came up with this idea of the triple science, double maths photo.

One of Zodiac's so called gathering at my chalet 2 years ago? I think this post has become on Zodiac's journey so far than about Cedric. Haha. Anyway, he IS the president of Zodiac.

How we signed up for this Anti-oxidants and free-radicals workshop at Ngee Ann poly and almost got lost when we alighted at the wrong busstop? I think it was Cedric who lead us onto the correct path there?

那些's gathering

那些's gathering today at my house!!!

I woke up quite early before 8am in order to catch The Amazing Race. After that went to set up the Mahjong table. So heavy. I had difficulties getting it to be upright.

Around 10 plus, mummy drove me to Cold Storage to purchase the drinks and chips. Haha, didn't manage to find Gil's fruit punch so I bought lemon tea. Then, mummy drove me home again.

Reached home, made the drinks, wash the cups, kept the clothes, etc... (forgot what I've done already) Around 1 plus, received a call from Gil saying they waiting for Pamela at Tiong Bahru and ask me whether can da-bao lunch for them so I suggested the ba-chor-mee. Before I went out, switched on the aircon and begin to walk to Simpang Bedok.

Ordered 5 packets of ba-chor-mee with chilli and one packet with extra vineger for Yirui. Walked to mrt station after buying their lunch.

At Tanah Merah, waited around half an hour for them. The noodles were getting soggy already. Called Gil a few times but he didn't pick up so stood there waiting. Then, walked to my house and we started to talk about anything under the sun. Pamela still thought the condo's name was a foodcourt.

Reached my house, ate their lunch then its Mahjong time! Played a full game and there was one game, I almost got I don't know how many tai. I got a full set of flowers, 3 animals and was playing circles and just waiting for the 2 circles. I think if I managed to hu, it will be like how much? Anyway, I still don't quite know how to count tai. Giil bought a shirt, a necklace and soup for each of us after coming back from Thailand. Thank you Gil!!! Took group pictures using Nuoshi's and Gil's phone.

As for dinner, we proceeded to Hotpot Culture at Marina Square instead of Sakura at Safra Tampines. Ate there, had a great time, Celeste joined us there. I ate till my stomach was on going to burst and had to visit the toilet 2 times!!! The chocolate fondue was nice. I think I've burnt my tongue though.

They said they'll come my house again. Maybe during the next holidays which is half a year later? We even planned to go to the 85 market for sambal stingray and barbeque chicken wings.

Although we will not be in the same class for the next 2 years, we can still see each other around in school and attend lectures together right?

SCHOOL"S STARTING!!! ONE MORE WEEK!!! I CAN"T WAIT FOR SCHOOL TO START!!!

I'm so fortunate to have such a group of good friends in poly. =)

I SAW A COCKROACH FLY TO THE SINK WHILE BRUSHING MY TEETH JUST NOW!!!!

Shouted for help downstairs. Papa apologise because he's scared of cockroaches. Mummy came to my rescue with MY slipper and whack the cockroach.

Haha.

Kind of having backaches now. Don't know how come like that also.

Anyway, sorry Peckyi for saying that I have something on next monday. I really want to be able to meet you all badly.

4th april

I'm so bored at home. Nothing to do also. Just happen to remember that today is the 4th of April.

2 years ago, on this same day, on 4th April 2007, it was prssco's big day. Its their SYF day. We performed on the SCH stage at 4.10pm on 04/04/07. The less then 20 minutes on stage were our glorious moments. The dongzuo, the yinzun, the jiezhou, the etc... were all almost perfected on stage. All our practices were worthwhile, the time spent in the chilly TECC auditorium, the scoldings ding gives us, the time we spent on practises and the hard work we all put in were all paid off.

The feeling on stage is remarkable. That was the 1st and only time I managed to smile on stage without using any force during the choice piece. I guess everyone was smiling too. We ended the whole chinese orchestra SYF 2007 with the loud music of 阿瓦山.

Then, it was the results. The waiting time was torturous. Minutes seemed like hours just crawled by. We keep looking at the clock. After the announcer released 'Chinese Orchestra no.57, Gold with Honours. All of us jumped for joy almost immediately. Tears just flow down and screams were heard everywhere. It was OUR fruit of labour. It was OUR success. It was OUR hardwork. It couldn't be done without anyone, from the performers, to the conductor, to the instructors, to the teachers, to the logistics.

I hope this moment of glory can happen on the 20th of April 2009 in SCH where prssco shall shine on stage again. Prssco shall achieve nothing lesser than a Gold With Honours!

good things come in pairs

Good things come in pairs indeed!!! I'm so happy today!!!

Firstly, i'm going to in the same class as Nuoshi and Yirui!!! Happy happy. Couldn't stop smiling whole talking to Yirui on the phone just now.

Secondly, I'm going to meet 那些's before the start of school!!! Happy^284637285. Currently waiting for Gil's reply because Yirui, Nuoshi, Pamela and Calista can make it!!! Yay!! Looking forward to meeting them on the 13th of march @ 12pm. We're going to have mahjong at my house before proceeding to Sakura for dinner!!!

I"M SO HAPPY!!!!

blessing

A blessing in disguise indeed. I couldn't sleep last night due to the fact known to me. I was supposed to be in a different class. Instead, it turned out to be the opposite today.

Wasted my energy on worrying till 2.30am last night. Hope all's well will end well.
